We create an R&D center and new state-of-the art facility in France (New Aquitaine), with gigafactories to be built in Hauts de France and Germany.

Job description:

The Head of Data Engineering leads our central data engineers' team and is directly reporting to the Group Chief Data Officer.

The main missions for the team he is leading are:

Enable the data uses cases creating the data pipelines that are necessary to deliver value for all business lines of the group.
Establish the policies and the technology roadmap referring to the data collect, transformation and storage using pipelines and storage systems. This involves extracting data from various data source systems, transforming it, and loading it into database, data warehouse or datalake systems.
Ensure quantitative and qualitative access to data sources. Ensure availability of data and guarantee the quality of its use in-order-to facilitate its exploitation by Data analysts and Data scientists.
Animate the technical policies aligning and federating business data owners, IS/IT team, external partners to get the maximal value for ACC.
Lead, recruit and rise the collective knowledge of the team and participate to trainings and acculturation actions within ACC.

Profile:

Experience

Recognized track as manager in data environment
Experience as a senior data engineer or in a similar role
Technical expertise with data models and data mining
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java and Python)
Handson experience with SQL database and PostgreSQL
Specific knowledge: Nodered, Docker, Apache NIFI, RFlow, HBase, Hive, Spark, Zeppelin

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
A complementary data engineering certification (e.g IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus
