Along with the business growth, we are looking for:

Location: Estrées Saint Denis (15 minutes from Compiègne)

Your responsibilities:

• Manage development projects for foamed polymers from concept to production and improve existing materials.
• Conduct trials, product evaluations, and be part of production optimisation.
• Develop JSP's know-how in terms of foamed polymers materials science and associated technologies.
• Bring and effectively share foamed product expertise to answer customers technical requests.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Excellent proficiency in English. Another European language will be favoured.
• A strong educational background in polymer/material science and their processing (extrusion, injection, foaming, etc.).
• A genuine interest in science and in understanding the phenomena associated with polymers.
• The ability to run Design of Experiments and excellent analytical skills to analyse them with a proactive approach and a business focus.
• Scientific rigour and a good critical sense coupled with a creative mind and a good capacity for innovation.
• Good communication skills enabling you to interact effectively with different teams.
• An international mind, open to travel in Europe occasionnaly.
• Appetence for programming, data science and machine learning would be an advantage.
