Your mission:


As Software Architect you will:

  • Define the detailed software architecture & solution on your perimeter, in adequation with global architecture needs, and overall constraints: safety, availability, maintainability, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Review your technical proposal with a board of experts (internal team members, internal customers teams members, similar development team members)
  • Contribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions, including COTS (Commercial Off-TheShelf)
  • Based on proposed solution, elaborate the detailed specification through requirements and the validation strategy
  • Coordinate the documentation, development and the validation of the targeted modules in adequation with Alstom processes, with a small team of 3 to 5 resources working mainly outside Villeurbanne, and with no hierarchical link. This includes planification, work estimation, progress tracking, configuration and change management of the targeted modules.
You will work under the responsibility of a software program manager and a lead architect.


Your profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / software engineering
  • Good knowledge software development process and standard
  • Good knowledge of some of following technologies or domain:
  • Micro services architectures
  • Publish & subscribe bus technologies (Rabbit MQ / Kafka / Redis)
  • Containerization & virtualization
  • Database management
  • C# DOT.NET Core
  • Cybersecurity design constraints
  • Cloud deployment
  • 05 years of experience in software development & architecture.
  • Already an experience of development team coordination
  • Good communication skills and capacity to work with remote team
