The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic
Power Unit Dyno Testing Engineer working alongside our Power Unit Testing Team.


In this role you will be responsible for validating the reliability and performance of the full power unit during long runs on dyno facilities.


Responsibilities will also involve:


  • Ensuring test programs (data gathering, test equipment,) are completed with accuracy
  • Being responsible for all dyno tests by leading the testing team (mechanics, system engineer, maintenance)
  • Monitoring the engine behavior with telemetry tools and analyzing the risks to avoid any engine failure
  • Coordinating preventive and corrective mechanical interventions on both engine and testing cell and proactively work on the resolution.
  • Analyzing data and interpretating the test results before submitting daily reports
  • Presenting a final report summarizing the test results to the Chief Engineer and other stakeholders.

The person

Must-haves:


  • Engineering studies in Internal Combustion Engine
  • Flexibility in hours (rotation on 3 shifts within the team)
  • Able to understand data and incorporate insightfully
  • Tenacious, cando attitude
  • Creating a positive profile for themselves and the department

Nice to have:


  • Strong knowledge of Formula one engine systems
  • First experience using test cell
  • French speaking skills appreciated or willing to learn
  • Matlab-Simulink skills
  • Atlas skills
