Job overview


You will join the Digital Innovation team of B&B HOTELS and report directly to the CTO of Innovation & Data.

You will work closely with the Corporate and Regional Digital and IT departments.


The Innovation department is tasked with identifying new innovative services to improve and simplify the customer and hotel experience through digital technologies.

Initiatives cover the omnichannel journey from booking to the guest's stay in the hotel (e.g., Concierge, digital key, online check-in, etc.) as well as the management of hotel operations (e.g., Supply chain, control of hygiene and safety standards, traceability, etc.).


You will be at the forefront of exploring new technologies and methodologies and will be responsible for driving the build and assessment of prototypes defined to create new digital services, user needs not met or pain points.

This role requires a unique combination of deep technical skills, evaluation of business value and leadership in project management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the potential benefit of any digital innovation opportunity (business case) to enable a Go/No Go decision by the Innovation Steering Committee to start a prototype.
  • Work closely with the company's stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into innovative technological solutions.
  • Coordinate the work of partner, business, digital and IT (regional and corporate) teams to build live prototypes.
  • Ensure an optimal endtoend user experience.
  • Manage customer surveys towards endusers of a prototype and define performance indicators to ensure the assessment of the value and real impact.
  • Delivers all necessary communication, training, change management, enduser supports materials necessary to scale the solution when prototype is conclusive with the support of appropriate departments.
  • Organize the handover to Corporate Digital and IT teams to ensure the transition to rollout and operational run (scalability and compliance with B&B Hotels' standards of Security and business continuity)

Description du profil:


Skills and Experience

  • Degree in computer science or business school.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a Project Management or Product Owner role with knowledge of the innovation project cycle (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, and Agile).
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies and software development tools.
  • Sharp business acumen and ability to align technological innovations with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, multidisciplinary team management, and leadership skills to align expectations, priorities, and outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and task prioritization.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on product objectives and project constraints.
  • Proficiency in project management and work tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • English: mandatory
