Our strong and agile international team continues to grow and adapt to new challenges. Based in Grenoble (France), we are currently establishing our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

In the coming years, we will focus on building the world's most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France).

With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.

You are learning about and supporting the systems that automatically transport, store, and track materials in the battery manufacturing process.


The role will evolve from the planning the pilot line, setting up the pilot line, and improving the pilot line in Grenoble.


You are embracing the objective of building and structuring Verkor as the most advanced battery manufacturing company in the world.


Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshooting hardware for the manufacturing process, including AGVs, VGVs, conveyors, stacker cranes, 3axis gantries, etc.
  • Integrating the logistics WMS with other Verkor software, such as MES and ERP. Inventory and production control decisions will be made in connection with higherlevel enterprise targets.
  • Improving the pilot line with process improvement projects after hardware installation. The goal is to reduce labor and scrap cost, while increasing machine availability and utilization.

Requirements:


  • Evidence of exceptional ability. Verkor follows a culture of fullcycle engineering where members will have full responsibility and accountability for their projects from start to finish. We are looking for the best of the best.
  • Experience or interest in working with industrial logistics.
  • Interest in AGVs, conveyors, and other transport vehicles.
  • Interest in the manufacturing environment, particularly with highvolume product (>100,000 or > 1,000,000 products per day).
  • Interest in factory layout design to reduce footprint and optimize the manufacturing process.
  • Statistical and data analysis skills with tools such as Python, Matlab, and Minitab.
  • Basic: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/ /Industrial Engineering or similar discipline.
