Working under the Director for Equipment & packages and with Package Manager, discipline engineers, technology group and execution team, the function shall lead and manage assigned tenders within the equipment and packages (E&P) group of the Brownfield & Products Division of NOV Wellstream Processing (WSP).

This role shall be the single point of contact to the Client for the tender.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountable for the tender from BD & sales handover through to tender closeout ensuring winning strategies defined in collaboration with BD & sales are implemented
Accountable for technical selection of equipment in the tender phase in collaboration with Technology group.
Facilitate technical communication with the client and participate in bid clarification meetings and tender negotiations.
Respond to formal Invitation to Tender in accordance with client expectation and administration requirements.
Ensure that engineering has been performed and checked in accordance with NOV policies and procedures.
Accountable for resource planning to meet E&P customer needs.
Ensure that the most relevant and recent RFQ documentation is provided to discipline engineers and subvendors
Implement and maintain cost focus in line with customer expectations.
When won: Ensure a proper hand over to execution team in accordance with Company procedures
When lost: Capture Lessons Learned
Assist the Director of E&P in developing, implementing and managing tools required for tendering activity
Work with Technology Product Line manager to offer nonstandard solutions where required.
Overall tender management and coordination for budgetary bids.
Ensure compliance with NOV corporate standards, policies and procedures, as well as comply with the laws that regulate the business of WPS.
Occasional travel as and when required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

510 years of Oil & Gas specific experience in Process or Technology function
Working experience within a similar role
Good understanding of tender models applied by Engineering Procurement Construction and Installation contracts for the Oil & Gas industry.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of commercial content in bid documentation
Good understanding of the technical aspects of production offshore Oil & Gas technologies and the industry as a whole.
