Outpost24 is expanding our sales teams is currently seeking for a Junior Sales Engineer to join our team focusing on selling cyber security solutions and services.


As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and pre-sales support to prospective clients.

You will work closely with our sales representatives to understand client requirements, demonstrate the value of our cybersecurity solutions, and assist in closing deals.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical and sales skills within the dynamic field of cybersecurity.


In your role as a junior Sales Engineer, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our cybersecurity products, solutions, and services, staying up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements. Leverage this knowledge to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our offerings to potential clients.
  • Presales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential leads. Assist in preparing and delivering compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and proofofconcept (POC) engagements to showcase the features and benefits of our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a technical consultant, engaging with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges. Provide expert advice, guidance, and recommendations on how our solutions can address their cybersecurity requirements and improve their overall security posture.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, building credibility and ensuring customer satisfaction. Continuously strive to identify upsell and crosssell opportunities to expand the scope and reach of our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to ensure seamless communication, knowledge sharing, and alignment of goals. Working in a worldwide team in a global sales engineering team where sharing is encouraged and out of the box thinking.
  • As a starter, we will assist you and guide you in your career path to achieve your career goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or sales will be a plus.

Fluent/native-level proficiency in French is a must for this position. Ability to effectively communicate with French-speaking clients and conduct sales activities in French.

  • Knowledge of active directory is a must for this position.
  • Eager to learn cybersecurity principles and technologies, including network security, endpoint protection, encryption, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up to date with the latest developments in the cybersecurity industry and proactively expanding knowledge and skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for meetings, demonstrations, and conferences as required.
