- Owning the development and localization of high-quality French content across campaigns, product launches, PR, partnerships, social media and sales materials.
- Developing and writing PR-driven content, executive bylines and sponsored media pieces, translating research, product insights and data into compelling, media-ready narratives that align with campaign objectives and maximize impact.
- Creating and managing website content with a strong SEO focus, leading regional SEO initiatives, conducting keyword research, and working closely with our SEO agency to drive EMEA-wide optimization efforts.
- Interviewing customers and partners to create impactful case studies and video scripts.
- Driving performance through data by tracking key metrics and translating insights into strategic, data-driven recommendations that improve results.
- Applying strong product understanding to create compelling content that increases product visibility, drives awareness and supports upsell opportunities.
- Leading editorial planning for French-speaking markets by identifying strategic content themes aligned with marketing roadmaps and growth priorities.
- Working closely with content team members to maintain a unified brand voice and high editorial standards across all platforms.
- Leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation, streamline workflows and scale output efficiently.
- Developing deep knowledge of our key audiences, market dynamics and hospitality industry trends to inform commercially relevant and insight-led storytelling.
- Providing editorial guidance, proofreading and feedback to ensure consistency, accuracy and high-quality output across the team.
- Native-level proficiency in French (from France), with exceptional storytelling, editing, and conceptual thinking skills.
- 4+ years of experience in SaaS marketing, journalism, or branded content roles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience creating quality content across multiple marketing channels that supports brand positioning and other communication objectives, including product launches, campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills, with experience writing PR articles or bylines and supporting media initiatives, including sponsored content and media buys.
- Demonstrated SEO expertise, including keyword research, following up on content briefings, and applying on-page optimization best practices.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align content to business goals, regional market needs and measurable performance outcomes.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work across teams while independently driving high-priority projects to completion.
- Familiarity with content management systems like Wordpress and Hootsuite, and SEO tools like aHrefs or Semrush.
- You have a strong affinity with the hospitality sector.

Lightspeed is looking for a senior content writer, native in French, to be the voice of Lightspeed Restaurant for the French, Swiss and Belgium markets. As a key member of Lightspeed's dynamic in-house content team, you'll deliver high-impact content across multiple channels.
You'll act as a strategic content partner to PR, Product, SEO, Sales and regional marketing teams, shaping narratives that position Lightspeed as the leading ePOS platform for restaurants. Your work will directly contribute to brand authority, media visibility, SEO growth and commercial impact across the region.
