In the coming years, we will focus on building the world's most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France).
With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually and creating 1200 direct jobs.
In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure toshape the future of European mobility.We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Technician to oversee our scrap management process.
Responsibilities:
- Implement procedures for the proper handling and disposal of scrap materials.
- Monitor and track all scrap materials generated during the manufacturing process.
- Identify opportunities for reducing the risks of scrap and waste.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and company policies related to scrap management.
- Maintain accurate records of all scrap materials generated, disposed of, and recycled.
- Manage relationships with scrap disposal and recycling vendors.
- Assist with other productionrelated tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a recycling or process technician role.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations related to scrap management.
- Familiarity with scrap disposal and recycling vendors and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to operate and maintain machinery used in scrap management.
- Forklift operations license is preferred (CACES R485 & R489)
Languages:
- English is mandatory
- French is a strong plus
