    Job Description

    Primary Function of Position:

    The Clinical Sales Associate plays a key role in maximizing the utilization of installed da Vinci Surgical Systems.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Execute the clinical sales plan outlined by the Clinical Sales Manager to enhance the utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System.
    • Become a da Vinci Surgery expert, particularly in core indications for the area, to facilitate the growth of surgical robotics programs in the designated region.
    • Participate in regional Sales and Marketing initiatives that enhance system visibility and procedure adoption.
    • Establish a da Vinci Surgery strategy for each surgical team to ensure they can independently operate the system within a reasonable timeframe based on their caseload and system access.
    • Promote the utilization of the da Vinci system by collaborating with surgical teams to assess and select suitable cases and ensure consistent system usage.
    • Expand the user base continuously by engaging with essential hospital staff and influential surgeons to generate a qualified lead pipeline; interactions with C-level executives, senior hospital staff, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) would be supported by the Clinical Sales Manager.
    • Lead training sessions for surgical teams, aiding them in comprehending system functionalities, operating room integration, and da Vinci Surgery applications.
    • Provide support to the surgical team, offering advice and expertise on the use of the da Vinci Surgical System by delivering case support.
    • Manage administrative duties responsibly, including reporting sales/procedures, outcomes of sales activities, and submission of expense reports.

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
    • At least two years of experience in support and training within the medical device industry or a minimum of two years of previous sales experience in the healthcare sector is required.
    • Demonstrated success in sales support or sales roles.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in English and the local language as necessary.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on account distribution.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
    • Preferably, familiarity with the Operating Room environment.
