Role Purpose
Lead the function within Sandoz France, local single point of contact for all Finance, Reporting & Accounting (FRA) functions.

Lead for R2R activities and responsible for on-time, in-quality reporting of financials in statutory, IFRS, and other external reporting requirements.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of regional / global strategies for own part of the organization.
  • Manage the budgeting process for the area of responsibility.
  • Primary point of contact for R2R matters including delivery of service levels and key performance indicators (KPI's) as defined by FRA process
  • Manage the country internal financial controls; ensures appropriate compliance and usage by performing regular compliance tests and audits.
  • Colead with Head FRA the month end close activities including the analysis, review, and validation of financial statements, to include conducting crossfunction analysis meetings with key stakeholders to review financial performance and balance sheet details
  • Provide timely statutory and country reporting information to internal and external stakeholders, including regional finance officers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior finance colleagues, both internal and external accounting authorities/auditors, and Division and Group FRA, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders as questions or issues arise
  • Partners with tax authorities and ensures timely statutory tax submissions (income tax, VAT, pharmaceutical taxes etc.). Executes on transfer pricing model. Liaises with Sandoz' internal and external tax experts, and raises fiscal attention points.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years accounting experience in a pharma industry
  • Experience in tax compliance and understanding of local tax rules
  • Functional breadth, and interaction with other FRA functions (P2P, O2C, treasury, tax, real estate)
  • Able to lead projects in multifunctional and international environment with outsourced service providers
  • Experience in financial business partnering
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance, ideally Master's degree, and relevant finance specialization is a plus (DSCG or international equivalent)
  • Confirmed experience in financial accounting and reporting, auditing, and financial process engineering, with record of strong control focus and driving / delivering change initiatives
