Description

PPDL Project is in charge of the perimeter for Product design and Product Development including Process setup from RFQ until start of production.

He works in strong collaboration with OEM's, Complete Seat R&D and Foam Operations for Industrial aspect (Tools / Lines / Chemistry /plant).

In more details:

Manage the Product and Process development activities of his program according PMS (from RFQ to gate 4)
Ensure Product robustness through regular exchanges with OEM and Complete Seat R&D
Participate to the Complete Seat feasibility review for our products at all PMS milestones
Follow up the D&D costs of his program
Steer engineering changes of his program
Lead PFMEA until tool and equipment approval in the plant
Respect equipement's and tooling's budget
Followup proto and off tools from order to supplier until delivery
Followup the capacity tooling plan until GATE
Ensure for the defined KPI's the needed follow up to achieve efficient Product and Process development
Ensure Process robustness for Tools through exchanges with Plant and Manufacturing team
Implement all changes of the production system related to the product modifications
Ensure that engineering and manufacturing milestones are passed successfully
Prepare DPR meeting presentations to present Product & Process development status to management and decisions to be taken
Monitor foam validation plan of his program
Coordinate work package tasks and ensure their accomplishment
Perform the function with discipline and accept the responsibilities in accordance with the Politics of the Quality and the Environment and Security, making everything to assure the conformity of the products supplied to our customers and to avoid the occurrence of casualties, in respect to itself exactly and the thirds, as well as of material damages and aggression the environment
To fulfil and to make to fulfil the rules of security and the politics and procedures of HSE
Respect and ensure in his/her daily approach the correct and fully implementation of the Faurecia code of ethics (Respect for fundamental Human Rights, Development of economic and social dialogue, Development of skills, Ethics and rules of business conduct, if necessary reporting infringements to the Code of Ethics )

Experience:

Minimum 2 years previous experience as Manufacturing or Product Engineer or Foam CAD Engineering in automotive industry
2 years previous experience in foam manufacturing is a nice ta have

Profile:

Master degree in Engineering
Experienced in Engineering technics, skilled in Complete seat engineering appreciated
Leadership skills (Team leader ability)
Basic financial skills
Knowledge in project Management
Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills
Able to work in a multicultural environment
Fluent in English and French. German, Polish, Portuguese, is a plus.
