We are looking for a Country Manager in France to help us further develop our business by building up the absolute best sales team to provide our merchants with an outstanding experience.


You report to Massimiliano Errigo, our Chief Revenue Officer, and support him in setting the strategic commercial direction and regional go-to-market strategy.


You will:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy for France, including identifying target customer segments, market positioning, and competitive analysis.
  • Drive business development activities to establish and maintain partnerships with ecommerce platforms, merchants, and other key stakeholders to expand Scalapay's presence and adoption in the market.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets by effectively managing sales teams and fostering a highperformance culture. Implement strategies to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
  • Build and lead a highperforming team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to achieve their professional growth and deliver outstanding results.
  • Collaborate with global teams, including product development, marketing, and engineering, to align France's strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must have:


  • Be an exceptional sales leader. This means having achieved exceptional results in your sales career. Exceptional means the type of results that are beyond the reach of 90% of sales leaders.
  • 7+ years of relevant, regional or country leadership experience
  • You have closed enterpriselevel accounts
  • You have a methodical approach you speak MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler,
  • You can build a strategic business for a market and execute it with a team
  • You can talk ecommerce and payments fluently
  • You've already managed a team: this means performance management, hiring, firing, coaching and training
  • You can build high performing & engaged teams
  • You speak french at a native or nearnative level and English fluently

  • Make Scalapay the #1 BNPL in the Country
  • Increase employee engagement in France by at least 10% in your first year
  • Drive consumer adoption of Scalapay as a preferred payment method for online purchases.
  • Foster a highperformance culture within the french team.
  • Improve operational efficiency by implementing process improvements and automation.
  • Identify potential expansion opportunities within France and present a wellresearched plan for further market penetration or expansion into new verticals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture within the local team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of ownership.
