General Description

Principle Power currently operates a hybrid work scheduled with 3 days per week to be spent in one of Principle Power's offices.

Offices are presently located in Aix-en-Provence, France; Lisbon, Portugal; Emeryville, California, USA; and Houston, Texas, USA.

Main Accountabilities

  • Gathering, interpreting, and managing technical requirements.
  • Writing of highlevel project documents related to such topics as safety, material handling, corrosion, and access.
  • Design and optimization of platform layouts.
  • Specification of platform systems including those related to safety, material handling equipment and corrosion protection.
  • Writing of equipment specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
  • Risk management activities including management of risk registers.
  • Preparing various fabrication deliverables such as MTO's, technical queries, etc
  • Detail review of fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Writing and management of operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Interfacing with engineers from other company disciplines (Structural, Global Performance, Mooring, Fabrication and Installation) to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Developing, maintaining and delivering work products to project schedules for assigned work scopes.
  • Organization of multidisciplinary work packages between drafting and analysis groups.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to other team members.
Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience working in a project environment and managing requirements.
  • Understanding manufacturing constraints.
  • Knowledge of the offshore wind, offshore oil & gas, or maritime industry preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools, namely Word and Excel.
  • English proficiency is mandatory; both written and spoken.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and multitime zone environment would be beneficial.
