  • Nexans is transforming itself into pure player of electrification and key player of decarbonized energy in France by "simplify to amplify": improving efficiency, optimizing resources and modernizing it processes and digital tools while engaging people and encouraging local initiatives.
  • As a France Internal Communication Manager you will support Nexans transformation at local levels, will cascade the new strategy, boost and feed Nexans culture and Employee engagement. You will also support Corporate programs and projects and promote the culture of one united global team.
    Purpose
  • This is a key role in one of the main markets of the company. At a time when the information coming from the company (strategy, transformation, CSR program, values ) happens in a particularly intense way and through different channels, you will have to be as close as possible to people working in our different French factories, both managers and operators.

Objective:

share with them the Vision, strategy & mission of the Group but also those of France, and of their local site.

Be a driving force behind all engagements programs and ensure that Nexans' culture and values are live in all plants in the same way.- It is also a key role to better involve operators in key plant events, such as a press, institutional conference, customer days.- Above all, the objective will be to improve local news and information sharing, with a view to selectivity and efficiency.


Responsabilities and Taks

  • You will be working in close cooperation with the Corporate communication team (internal as well as external) and in coordination with communication correspondents at BU & sites levels, to ensure alignment with the Group's strategy, consistency in our messages and brand identity.
  • You will be a key contact for the head of BU South France, and all the management team (marketing, sales, HR ).
    1/ Ensure visibility of and contribute to key Corporate messages and projects; ensure cascading of main transversal programs
- ensure that the key messages related to the transformation, business trends and targets, the organization, HR topics, Nexans culture are shared, cascaded and understood at all levels: BG/BU/sites (blue-collars included)
- adapt Global messages to the BU context, while ensuring alignment
- contribute to Corporate messaging with BU information
- work on the building and ensure cascading of main Corporate programs: Values, Safety, Nexans Remarkable People, NLV, WIN, CSR / foundation,...
- build the internal communication plan in close relation with the global communication plan of the Group
- participate in the Group's editorial committee


2/ Ensure information is circulated within the BG organization and entities
- define and deploy the proper IC plan connected to the business vision and transformation path
- ensure close cooperation with the Business Group VP and key internal BG stakeholders: sales, HR, operations, etc.
- advise/train leaders whenever relevant to help them cascade messages and improve engagement level
- develop the appropriate contents regarding the messages and targeted internal audiences, and for defining, implementing and monitoring the related IC tools and KPIs
- develop new formats / tools to make the IC attractive & innovative

  • If needed, be part of the crisis communication cell and contribute to circulate information in case of a crisis situation for the BG

3/ Ensure BG outreach within the Group, alignment with Group's processes and standards
- promote the main actions and initiatives of the employees to drive employee engagement on sites through different tools, and on the Intranet/Yammer
- promote a customer and people centric, innovative, safety & environment-driven culture
- imagine new consistent format within the network to share the information as best as possible; and to identify the best ideas/practices
- work in close coordination with external communication managers on his/her geographical scope to ensure full alignment


Position sizing

  • No managerial responsibility for the position but possibility to hire an apprentice or trainee regarding the needs
  • Manages a local network of correspondents within the BU actin
