Job Purpose:


Responsible for the realization of all tests and investigations relative to material topics for R&D and Engineering departments on raw materials, components and assemblies.

Support the organization at global level for Material topics.


Key Accountabilities & Key Activities:
Tests and investigations

  • Ensure the realization of material evaluation & investigation tests relative to his field of responsibility respecting the KPI objectives.
  • Guarantee quality and reliability of tests.
  • Ensure Electrochemistry measurements and development
  • Ensure the Scanning Electron Microscope maintenance and performance.
  • Ensure maintenance and performance of others test equipment relative to his field of responsibility.
  • Ensure the compliance with internal environment and safety rules.
Expertise & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure a technical watch and development about his field of expertise.
  • Ensure the technical support on his perimeter for R&D projects and common workgroups within Testing department.
  • Maintain, improve continuously internal tools by communicating with stakeholders.
Validation Procedure Support

  • Contribute within the departments to the definition and management of standards, test procedures and measurements technics.
  • Maintain and develop harmonized material testing procedures.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering with a specialization in Materials or Chemistry or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar area, preferably in automotive.
