Job description:

You will join Amaris Consulting as a consultant and you will integrate our client's Data Governance team.

Hence, you will have a role in organizing the Data Management framework and you will support the deployment of the related internal guidelines across the enterprise, in close collaboration with both Business and IT.


You will have an active contribution in the development and execution of the enterprise's data strategy and you will define functional guidelines and recommendations on Data Management considering business and regulatory requirements such as dictionaries, quality, lineage, classification, retention period, etc.


YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


You will lead and manage all enterprise-wide data governance activities and will have responsibility for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data and information assets.

You will not only acts as an advisor to Senior Management on all data-related topics and issues, but you will also initiate required improvements for Data Management.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of informationbased capabilities;
  • Roll out an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, and related tools;
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's principal information assets;
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and IT to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning;
  • Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps;
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise;
  • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements;
  • Lead Senior Management, comprising resources from the Business and IT, to achieve their objectives; resolve issues escalated from Business data governance representatives (i.e., Data Stewards);
  • Provide progress reports and oversee periodic updates to the Data Governance Committee roadmap.

THE IDEAL PROFILE

  • A Master's degree in information technology, business or project management, or related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in data quality, data protection, metadata Management, etc.;
  • A prior experience in the implementation or improvement of Data Management governance;
  • A good level in english;
  • Communicative and excellent stakeholder;
  • Precise and accurate;
  • Entrepreneurial and forward thinking.
