Job Summary:
The Sales Manager France & Southern Europe (incl. Spain, Portugal and Italy) is an integral member of our International Business to Business (B2B) Leadership team and will be responsible for the growth of our devices and contribute to the development of the organization's strategic goals, including extending and enlarging the market share, creating new business, and achieving the
revenue in the given territory. This also includes the support of direct B2B customers and the distributors in the territory.

In addition to the strategic components, the Sales Manager will be charged with growing our portfolio within the assigned accounts and net new customers.

The Sales Manager will lean heavily on building an executive presence with assigned strategic accounts to build a stronger strategic partnership.

Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)

  • Manage team in accordance with our core values, policies, and procedures.
  • To build an industry leading sales team through coaching and development, with the capability to sell to all relevant stakeholders in the everchanging healthcare environment.
  • Meet with team frequently to review progress, strategies, goals, and achievements and develop actions to ensure achievement of performance targets established
  • Continually monitor and track rep productivity and motivate team to achieve goals.
  • Manage performance review process and ensure employee development plans are established.
  • Create, together with the European sales team, a sales and marketing strategy for the region.
  • Be a partner and give support to direct customers and the distributors in the given territory.
  • Supports directly key customers and attends National or international trade shows.
  • Provide training and coaching to direct customers and distribution partners.
  • Identify key individuals and build appropriate relationships in the clinical and user community.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with medical thought leaders in the given territory.
  • Search for new business opportunities in the region for portable and standard oxygen concentrators.
  • Responsible for managing the Inogen strategic accounts and new accounts to drive net year over year (YoY) growth within the Inogen's B2B business:
  • Create and implement strategies and tactics resulting in successful company growth
  • Assist in creating the specific sales plans and goals for each account that is assigned
  • Responsible for building and maintaining executive relationships with assigned strategic accounts.

Includes strategy planning, communications, and quarterly business reviews:

  • Identify goals and needs/requirements of prospects and clients, including budgetary cycles/amounts and key decision makers
  • Establish strategic contracts with assigned strategic partners:
  • Help structure corporate contracts resulting in Inogen being named as key Personal Oxygen Concentrator (POC) supplier
  • Determine Solution offerings
  • Determine pricing, discounts and customized valueadds
  • Assist senior management with business planning, forecasting, resource allocation, etc.
  • Influence, collaborate and work with crossfunctional leaders, departments, and teams to develop and execute successful strategies
  • Leverage functional expertise to identify and execute new opportunities for Inogen to expand its patient census under its oxygen services program
  • Responsible for proper communication with Inogen field sales/services activities and senior management
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned.

  • Medical device sales experience required
  • Working knowledge of reimbursement for the products.

Qualifications (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or related field of study, preferred.
  • 7 years' proven successful sales performance, required; in a medical (sales) environment, preferred.
  • Experience in the European Home Oxygen Market, required.
  • 2 years of prior sales supervisory/management experience, require
