- Works closely with Service Technicians/Engineers, QHSE site contacts, Regional Managers, and Service Provider Managers as needed
- Coordinates with off-site or client-specific support teams
- Engages with Sales and Purchasing departments
- Requests and manages quotes from service providers
- Organizes and oversees service interventions
- Maintains clear communication with clients
- Participate in gathering client requirements during contract renewal cycles
- Process service requests and coordinate appropriate responses
- Source supplier bids and place necessary orders
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Plan and manage instrument validation services
- Host or remotely coordinate service provider visits to client sites
- Ensure invoicing for services outside contractual scope
- Document all interventions in accordance with quality standards and business practices
- Update internal databases and client records as agreed
- Provide necessary documentation for accurate service invoicing (e.g., work order closures, quote submissions)
- Support clients through regular follow-ups and responsive communication via meetings, email, and phone
- Adhere to all QHSE regulations
- Ensure services meet quality, cost, and timeline targets within contractual terms
- Maintain accurate administrative records for all services
- Keep clients informed of service progress
- Guide client requests when necessary
- Represent the company professionally on-site
- Recommend improvements to processes and procedures
- Need to have some previous experience or knowledge in a lab environment, ideally with a customer service focus
- Fluency in French
- Professional-level English (spoken and written)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in customer service roles
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Have a full driving license
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- The ability to start within the next month

Customer Service/ Supplier Representative
Location: Fully on-site in Paris, France
Company: A Global Medical Device Company
Contract: A 3-month contract initially with the possibility of extension
Purpose of the Role
The Customer Operations Representative is responsible for managing a portfolio of instruments on behalf of clients. This includes planning, organizing, and coordinating required service interventions—both within and outside of contractual agreements—and ensuring accurate invoicing for non-contracted services. The role may be performed on-site at the customer's location or remotely, with a strong emphasis on meeting quality, safety, and timeline objectives to ensure optimal equipment performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.
