Pocket Champs game worldwide which quickly became one of the top-grossing games in its category.

The
Finance team is composed of only one MadBoxer: Sophie, our Financial Director who joined us in February and is looking for a rockstar to help her bring Madbox to the next level

And this is where you come in She is looking for a
Finance Ops Specialist to
strengthen the finance department and
be a driving force of this new Chapter
About the Role

The beginning of your journey at Madbox as a Finance Ops Specialist:

Starts with meeting your team, discovering who is who and engaging with everyone involved (or not) in your missions
Continues with getting familiar with our stack, discovering our environment, tools and processes
You will of course play our games and learn more about how we are making them the "Madbox way"
Everything will be made for you to get you up to speed, take ownership and be ready to tackle your missions

Your responsibilities & Scope:

Take full responsibility on:_

Day to day operations: handling billing, expenses and payments through our financial tool Regate
-
Monthly closings following our closing calendar:

Prepare closing file for our external accounting firm
Become the point of contact of our accountants
Make sure financial statements are accurate

Monthly financial reporting:

Monitor and analyze monthly variations vs. Budget
Provide insights on operational performance and key finance metrics (Revenue, Game Operating Margin, EBITDA)
Produce monthly reporting analysis to our Finance Director and XCOM (executive committee)
Support our Finance Director on:_

Cash management: make sure we always optimise our cash and our currencies (EUR/USD)

Revenue ops: we are evolving in a fascinating sector Many analysis can be done to help us understand even better our players and our games to drive Madbox performance and growth (Business Kpis deep dives, cohorts analysis, game operating margins and performance etc).

Project Management: jump in on various projects and bring your analytical skills to help go deeper and make better decisions

Profile

Madbox IS the right place if you are/have:

3-5 years experience in audit, transaction services or start-up Finance department
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills both in French and English (Spanish is a plus)
Solid analytical & modeling skills and a rigorous mindset
Team player with a positive and humble attitude
Impeccable organization and priorities management
Eager to be involved in various type of missions in collaboration with different teams;
