- To steer FCE quality value plan (from slabs production step until finished products). Global Yield is the relevant KPI. We are leading transversal quality initiatives (REX/Close loop, workstreams on defects, reallocation first choice, bench quality management, benchs Global yield, ....)
- To contribute to enhance customer satisfaction on all markets (Auto, Electrical steels, Packaging and Industry), thanks to quality transversal initiatives and close interface with CMO teams and Clusters
- To manage quality interface with our 8 clusters Flat Europe, supporting quality local initiatives (day to day exchanges, quality touch point, Clusters review)
- To issue Flat Europe quality reporting (monthly basis, BAR meetings)
- To support R&D on the PMM (Product Manufacturing Mastering) and push roll out in clusters. This is covering on-line measurements, GPQS/EPC, product qualification and release.
- To facilitate the roll out of several digital tools (DCP, OSPC, Reaper, ...), including governance with CDO FCE.
- To contribute to standardize quality processes in the Flat Europe plants: common language, common rules for quality handling
- To support clusters and Supply chain on WIP stocks (reduction of blocked material and in front of secondary lines).
- To deploy FCE Quality Referential (standard tool for quality processes management in FCE)
- To steer the roll out of ScaleUp Quarto (FMEA, claims handling, internal quality issues, process changes)
- Steer transversal quality projects in interface with several clusters, CMO and R&D: defect working groups, digitalization projects.

To animate QMC networking and follow Responsible Steel (audits, corrective actions, best practices sharing).
Main missions you will handle first:
Steer projects to improve product capabilities in all clusters and particularly on mechanical properties. Aim is to improve service to customers and reduce downgraded and blocked products. This activity will require a close link with metallurgical route experts.
Profile – Requirements:
Product-quality background, for example: Operational or support functions in a quality department, quality or process engineer in a production department, metallurgical routes expert, product developer, CTS community, R&D.
5 years experience at least
Available for occasional travels from location
Good communication skills, mastering English
