Type of contract:

Definition & deployment of assessment activities:
- Plan and follow-up Independent safety assessment activities for the assigned projects
- Deliver safety assessment report for the defined key milestones
- Present the assessment results to the Project/Product team, and if necessary, to the management or to external entity as customer/railway safety authority
- Manage Independent Safety Assessment findings, log
Independent Safety Assessment Process management:
- Support the Independent Safety Assessment director or Safety Assessment lead in capturing assessment requests
- Estimate and Measure workload of assigned projects
Others:
- Support safety reviews or other independent assessments as requested
- Develop safety expertise and provide contribution to other assessors
- Contribute to successful achievement of internal/external audits process compliance
- Perform Safety audits, generate audit reports and follow up audit findings
- In line with applicable rules of independence provide Safety Awareness training and mentoring to the Engineering organization
Performance measurements:
- Respect of Quality Cost Delivery commitment along DFQ (Developpement For Quality) cycle
Job Location / Mobility
- Permanent Site with possible travels and missions in relation with the assessed projects
Mandatory:
- 5 years of experience in railway safety domain or 5 years in railway domain (including 2 years in railway safety domain)
Competencies & Skills
- Rigorous and structured with the ability to work against deadlines
- Ability to challenge and ability to say no
- Fluent in English, Communication, Pugnacious, resilience, negotiation
- Technical skills in railway safety process and related methods and tools
- Technical skills in railway operational context and system / product's functional and technical characteristics
- Knowledge of railway safety standards and regulations
