Your mission


As a contracts manager, you will work as a member of the Legal and Contracts Department and you will be responsible for negotiating, drafting and overseeing contracts relating to Sungrow's projects and sales activities and ensuring that any issues which arise in connection with the contracts are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.


  • Contact person for the sales and project management departments regarding legal advice on our contracts with customers.
  • Review, draft, qualify and negotiate various types of contractual documentation including framework agreement, sales contracts, General Terms & Conditions, purchasing agreement, confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements and letters of intent. The documents will be mainly in English language. Contact to customers will be mainly in French.
  • Identify risks and deviations from Sungrow ́s contracting principles and where necessary obtain senior management approval.
  • Preparation and negotiation of contractual qualifications with new and existing clients.
  • Prepare contract and risk summaries to ensure that all relevant project personnel are aware of Contractual obligations, risks and objectives.
  • Negotiate to resolution contractual and financial disputes on live projects, consulting with and advising relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Maintenance and adherence to all relevant policies, processes and procedures contained within Sungrow ́s Business Management System.
  • Support Contract Managers in Spain, Italy, Portugal and eventually other EMEA countries in cases of vacations and shortages.
  • Support with general admin.

Profile:


  • Either working experience in contractual law or a Diploma in Law at a European University.
  • 35 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Working experience in a technical industry desirable, e.g. Photovoltaic, Energy, Gas, Construction industry.
  • Experience in EPC contracts, mainly FIDIC Silver & Yellow Books is an advantage.
  • Commercially focused with a sound knowledge of Contract Law and the ability to draft in a legal / contractual context is an advantage.
  • Autonomous way of working. Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced and international environment. Ability to work in an multidisciplined team.
  • Positive attitude, high creativity and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills.
  • Sense for priorities and good time management skills.
  • Excellent French (preferably C2) and English (C1) language skills are a must have. International experience is a plus.
  • Occasional international travelling within Europe.
