Apprenticeship IFP School - Process Design Engineer (F/M)

Missions:


You will be part of our operational teams, hence receiving the guidance of highly skilled engineers, as you discover and gain in-depth insights into Axens technologies process design.

You will participate in unit design around the world, for refining, petrochemical or new technologies fields.


This will be achieved through:
- unit simulations - using chemical engineering software, starting from the bases defined by specialists up to Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) development,
- equipment sizing (Pumps, Compressors, Heat Exchangers etc.),
- as well as by establishing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

You may also have opportunities to attend various client meetings.


If hired as Process Design Engineer after your apprenticeship, you will be able to grow, with progressively increased project & technical responsibilities, such as the supervision of the design of Axens process units.


Profil:


You are an engineer with general or process engineering education, you are curious and open to the world and you are seeking to work in an international environment.


You are motivated by the refining, petrochemical and renewables sectors and you are keen on the energy-sector changes set to occur in the coming years.

Proactive, team spirit, analytical and interpersonal skills. Curiosity, strategic mindset and ability to understand the big picture.

Fluent in English.
