As
Senior Manager Factory Supply Planning for Europe and Middle East Africa, you will ensure Best In Class production planning to best match service level, costs and inventory targets worldwide


Main Responsabilities/Tasks:


  • Manage and develop his/her team of 6 factory planners to drive performance and improvement
  • Drive IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Factory Supply review for each of the 6 plants among Europe and Middle East Africa in collaboration with factory supply planners and factory teams
  • Participate in IBP Category Supply Review in collaboration with others Factory Supply Planning managers, Global Planning Management team, Manufacturing, Finance and Global Supply Chain Management team (GSC Officer)
  • Elaborate with his/her team the best planning mid and long term to reach best compromise between Service Level, Cost and Cash
  • Challenge factories on production planning adherence, MOQ and raw material inventory to drive inventory reduction and guarantee service level for worldwide demand.
  • Provide transparency to all zones on production processes, arbitration, and priorities first point of contact in case of arbitration needs for factories and continents supply organization, interfere with other network teams to improve efficiency across the global supply network
  • Analyze overall inventory levels with the help of the Inventory Analyst so as to reach targets
  • Lead or participate on crossfunctional project teams as assigned/needed (e. g. IT project Anaplan / JDA/BY)
  • Work with IBP manager to ensure the factories supply chain policies/processes are consistent with applicable BIC supply chain best practices
  • Support and ensures new products launches

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education: Master's degree or post graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
years of related experience in a demand or supply planning function within a fast-paced environment;

  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus
  • Team management experience
  • Deep knowledge of IBP / S&OP, demand planning and supply planning
  • Experience with leading, supervising and managing large groups of stakeholders through IBP / S&OP processes and meetings in a complex, crossfunctional, matrix environment
  • Ability to work with relevant planning tools (e.g. Anaplan) in support of analytics driven decision making
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen
  • Ability to implement new processes and operating model in a project mode
