Job DescriptionWithin the Footwear Bags & Socks Business Unit, our future Commercial & Merchandising Coordinator for Bags & Socks, under the responsibility of the Category Merchandiser for Bags & Socks, will have the following missions across the Running, Hiking, and Ski categories:
Missions for Bags & Socks categories:
Contribute to gathering relevant information (Market Intelligence) from Regional Sales Operations teams, distribution, competitive intelligence, to assist in building and monitoring the development of balanced and profitable product ranges.
Analyze product assortment performance with the offer creation team to establish key success factors and areas for improvement.
Missions for Socks category only:
Based on analysis of current range performance, participate in product offer creation: recommending changes, briefing Design on new models and colors, range development in collaboration with our supplier.
Timely and rigorously update the Product Centric management software with essential data for upcoming seasons' product offers.
Create/improve sales support tools (Sell-In & Sell-Through).
Populate the Product Information Management (PIM) system with consumer-facing product information: identify key benefits of each model, brief and review Copy Writing.
Contribute to product visibility in all Salomon brand content: provide visual content production teams with appropriate samples.
Create seasonal sample orders, consolidate sales force orders and HQ needs, ensure timely sample ordering and delivery. Physical management of HQ sales sample stock.

Qualifications- Required experience: First experience related to the sports industry appreciated
Education: Bachelor's degree with a specialization in marketing, final internship
- Specific skills: Organized, rigorous, autonomous, motivated, and dynamic individual. Analytical and recommendation abilities.
- Language(s): Fluent in English
Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, agility in Excel appreciated, ability to adapt to new software
- Other specific cross-functional skills: Interest in sports in general (experience in Outdoor Sports such as running, hiking, skiing is a plus)
