Your role
As a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of support tasks for a work unit, team, project or

manager


Your tasks may include:
planning and logístical organisation of events, both online and in-person, as well as providing technical assistance to
participants and ensuring complete follow-up of administrative files and related financial aspects;
organising business trips, including handling reservations, visas, and expense reimbursements;
researching, collecting, presenting, and disseminating various data and statistics;
contributing to communication activities, including the online publication of texts and various other products for different
audiences as well as creation, development and updating of websites;
managing correspondence, documents and presentations; ensuring their linguistic and grammatical quality, thus
guaranteeing professional and effective communication;
stakeholders.

These tasks may be adapted according to the profile sought or the assigned department.

You must have:
Academic background and professional experience and expertise

higher education diploma equivalent to at least two years' study, followed by at least one year's recent professional
experience directly related to the nature of the support functions (projects, customer service, communication, data
management, or other);
in the absence of a higher education diploma, secondary education must be completed and followed by at least two
years of recent professional experience directly related to the nature of the support functions;

What we offer
If successful, you may be offered employment based on an initial fixed-term period of at least one year, corresponding to

the probationary period, at grade B1/B2 depending on your previous professional experience. After successful completion of a

one-year probationary period, which may be extended if needed, the initial contract may be renewed one or several times for a

total duration of service not exceeding four years. A fixed-term appointment shall be converted into an open-ended appointment

In Strasbourg, you will receive a basic monthly gross salary of €3 139 (grade B1) or €3 576 (grade B2) which is exempt

from national income tax. Different salary scales are applied at our external offices according to the cost-of-living conditions.

This salary may be supplemented by other allowances depending on your personal situation. You will benefit from the Council

of Europe pension scheme, and also from private medical insurance, annual leave and other advantages (including flexible

working hours, training and development, possibility of teleworking, etc.).
