The
Senior Manager Epidemiology is a key member
Epidemiology and Real World Evidence **team. You will report to the Head, Epidemiology and Real World Evidence.


As the
Senior Manager Epidemiology, you will be responsible for overseeing generation and explanation of epidemiologic data across the business and supporting the design of evidence generating activities using primary and secondary data.


You will also:

  • Be responsible for methodological epidemiological & RWE leadership
  • Contribute the development of new SOPs and guidance documents that will promote and ensure timely and highquality, "fitforpurpose" evidence generation.
  • Support teams in understanding epidemiology of various conditions and will require strong critical thinking skills and problemsolving around conditions where available data are limited.

In this role your primary focus will be:

Epidemiology and Support of Evidence Generation

  • Partner effectively across the enterprise to support the identified epidemiologic needs across Oncology, Rare Disease and Neuroscience and play a central role in designing strategies that address evidence gaps around epi data and contribute to the global Integrated Data and Evidence vision at Ipsen;
  • Support design of prospective and retrospective pharmacoepidemiology studies (including RWE studies) in the pre/postlaunch setting, including related to Regulatory postapproval commitments;
  • Conduct critical review of RWE/Epidemiology studies designed by internal partners and/or external service providers to ensure scientific robustness and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and review study protocols and statistical analyses plans in collaboration with Biometrics, Medical and other internal stakeholders;

Administration

  • Provide budget input for activities related to epidemiology and associated studies and initiatives ensuring projects are adequately resourced
  • Actively participate in review of study proposals
  • Provide seamless and consistent support to global and local franchises

Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders on Building Capacity for Epidemiology Understanding

  • Fully involve Ipsen stakeholders (GMA TAs, HEOR, GMA Clin Ops, GMPC, R&D and affiliates) in the design and implementation of studies around epidemiologic data, from design to communication
  • Ensure Ipsen can provide comprehensive patient focused data & analytics in the disease areas we serve
  • Drive crossfunctional and global dialogue to enable early strategic alignment of epidemiologic data studies across global and local teams, in partnership with the Medical Asset leads, to ensure company is working with single source of information
The role will initially be based either in Boulogne or London. Our new UK&I Global Hub will transition to Paddington during Q1 2024.
