  • Responsibilities
  • Manage the monthly financial statement close process for the EU region
  • Review the monthly management accounts for accuracy and Ensure the reconciliation of monthly figures to Netsuite
  • Manage the submissions of quarterly VAT and FCA returns for the UK
  • Manage the submissions of all other regulatory, accounting and tax filing requirements for entities across EU
  • Lead and oversee the annual statutory audit process
  • Manage the preparation and submission of the annual financial statements
  • Ensure the reconciliation of the group's intercompany balances
  • Document and improve policies and processes for accuracy, efficiency and internal financial controls
  • Manage expense reimbursements and policy for the region
  • Key contact for financial and accounting queries in the region
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4 direct reports varying in experience
  • Support the team with ad hoc finance projects
  • Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 35+ years post qualified experience
  • Crypto/financial services/tech startup experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP and accounting requirements in EU
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work in a deadline driven environment
  • Experience managing and developing a small team
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous ERP systems experience (Netsuite) is desirable but not essential
