We are actively seeking for a talented Lead Platform Engineer to spearhead and oversee our dynamic platform team, which operates a cutting-edge hybrid cloud platform consisting of over 3000 servers in production.

This pivotal role calls for a technical manager who remains extensively involved in the infrastructure and technology aspects, dedicating at least 70% of their time to hands-on work.


As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will serve as a motivating force, inspiring and guiding our team of senior platform engineers.

As Lead Platform Engineer, your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Ensure the performance and quality of our infrastructure by proactively monitoring and optimizing its various components.
  • Rapidly detect, diagnose, and respond to incidents that arise during your shift, minimizing downtime and maximizing system reliability.
  • Champion automation initiatives across the organization, identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency wherever possible.
  • Enhance our monitoring and metrics capabilities to measure and improve reliability, availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Lead incident response efforts and promote a culture of postmortems, facilitating continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Cultivate a strong SRE/DevOps culture by empowering team members and establishing efficient processes.
  • Contribute actively to RFC reviews and proposals, shaping the future of our infrastructure and operations with your insights and expertise.

What will contribute to your success:

  • At least 8+ years of experience of extensive DevOps or SRE experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of best practices and methodologies.
  • A solid practical experience in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management, and in any Cloud Platform with a preference for GCP.
  • Excellent teambuilding and teammanagement skills openmindedness to understand their followers' motivations, hopes, and problems.
  • Strong background in architecting cloud platforms, bringing indepth knowledge of designing scalable and reliable infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to work on a broad range of technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Python, Golang, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, DNS, IPV4, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub, Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch).
