The role of the Clinical Specialist will be to drive customer satisfaction by translating bleeding edge technology into an essential part of everyday clinical workflow.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Clinical support:
  • Play a key role in sales process, communicating directly and building relationships with physicians and hospital administrators
  • Work closely with OEM sales team and Tempus corporate sales
  • Deliver web and inperson demos to potential customers and contribute to account penetration strategies
  • Postsales support / customer onboarding / IB management:
  • Anticipate, structure, and deliver training to customers
  • Drive customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer support: respond to customer issues, work with engineering and product to resolve them and communicate with customers on resolution.
  • KOL management:
  • Provide support to KOL (key opinion leaders) to drive adoption of the product
  • Support publication and communication with Tempus products
  • Product development:
  • Gather, translate, and assist in prioritizing customer requests for new functionality
  • Clearly and concisely document issues, opportunities, and gaps
  • Contribute to product strategy, development, and launch planning
  • Build deep clinical understanding of the product and the modality
  • Clinical marketing:
  • Maintain awareness of competition and market dynamics
  • Deliver product and technical presentations at customer sites and conferences
  • All other duties within Job scope as required

Required Qualifications:


  • Fluent in English
  • Background in MR and CT
  • Knowledge of scanning protocols, sequences and cardiac workflows
  • Experience working in a clinical setting with or at healthcare institutions
  • Understanding of healthcare IT and medical imaging workflow
  • 3+ years experience in clinical roles to develop new standards of care with clinicians
  • Experience with cardiologists, oncologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and other surgical specialties
  • Ability to travel on average approximately 50% of the time
  • Passport without limitations to travel in EMEA
