Description

During the summer period (June - August), the main task is the risk analysis and preparation of the Submission pack to be shared with all our retrocessionaires beginning of September, to kick-off the 2025 renewal.

The outward protections on which the intern will work aim to cover the worldwide P&C reinsurance treaties exposure (proportional / non-proportional) for property Cat.

An important part of the job in this period of the year is the communication with our retrocessionaires.

This is the time of taking advantage of their "courtesy" trips to take care of and strengthen the relationships, by giving them general updates on SCOR, on our exposure, on our losses and any other topic which could be of interest for them increasing the attractiveness of our purchases.

In this framework, a key event will be organized in July, to welcome in our office many of our stakeholders, with conferences and social dinner.

The intern is expected to attend and help the team in preparing it.

You will support the Retrocession team in the phase of preparation for the 2025 renewal by:

  • Helping with data collection, data analysis and synthesis to be included in the 2025 submission pack for CAT protections.
  • Helping with the organization of the Retro Cat Day event, to be held midJuly, for which we expect the participation of ~50 external attendees from different client and brokers companies.
  • You have strong interest to pursue a career in the actuarial field.
  • You have strong pragmatic problemsolving capabilities.
  • You work logical, organised, and attentive.
  • You like working in an international team.
  • You like to communicate and are fluent in English and French.
