Welcome to the Repair Team who built a service to propose to customers the possibility to get a repair whenever a technical issue arises.

The Repair Team is working hand-in-hand with various departments at Back Market to scale the service, but also with our external repair partners in France and abroad who conduct the repairs on our behalf.

We provide an end-to-end service involving seller and partner management, data analyses, customer satisfaction and quality adherence.

And beyond all of that, we are a great team that enjoys the ride and has a lot of fun.


As an Operations Manager Intern, you will integrate the team in charge of Repair Services based in Bordeaux (France) and Barcelona (Spain).

You will be part of scaling the service to allow sellers on the platform to outsource their in-warranty repairs.

You will also help customers to repair their devices in physical shops or by mail-in to one of our repair centers.


Your mission (If you accept it):

  • Monitor operational performance (including repair rate, repair time, and customer satisfaction) and define action plans to improve external and internal processes accordingly
  • Monitor and optimize seller satisfaction, maximize retention by communicating frequently and efficiently on the service performance and upcoming developments to sellers
  • Implement required operational processes to repair customers devices in shops and new centers abroad, for inwarranty and outofwarranty defects
  • Ensure the service adoption by promoting the service internally (notably among account managers) and externally (to our sellers)
  • Work with our Innovation Lab (Back Market's technical experts) to control and improve the quality of our repair partners

You're at the right place if:

  • You are looking for a 6-month full-time internship in Bordeaux (France)

English is a no-brainer (fully professional capability). If you're extra cool and you can speak French, bonus points for you

  • You have a previous experience, ideally in project management or data handling
  • You have strong analytical skills and you are comfortable with Excel/GSheet.

SQL is a plus :

  • You can work with multiple stakeholders and in a fastpaced environment.
  • You are organized and proactive, you pay attention to details, and have a lot of drive with a cando / willdo attitude

About the Internship:


  • Starting date is from July, 2023
  • Duration : 6 months
  • Location : Bordeaux, France
  • You must have an internship agreement provided by your current school
