- Management of the budget (previous, current & forecast)
- Write the assumption note,
- Support the technical leads to quote the activities,
- Aggregate the data,
- Present the outcome of the exercise and report differences
- Support senior managers
- Complete the cost spreadsheet of the Change Request,
- To check all entries are correct, and implement into the cost database as soon as validated.
- To extract the data from the accounting tool (SAP),
- To explain the gaps between the actuals and the forecast at the relevant level of reporting,
- To prepare the support to report on the financial performance.
- To monitor the actions opened due to the gap analysis feedback (for example to correct booking errors...)
- Invoicing between EPR-E (UK entity) and Edvance
- Quality control on the booking information: To proceed to the correction if needed
- Support all the stakeholders to record accruals if needed during the last week of the month
- To produce the accruals for the accounting department

Company Description
The Cost Engineer will be hired by the Edvance UK Project Management Office (PMO) and seconded to the SZC Project Controls team and will report operationally to the Sizewell C Cost and Change Lead, who is based in France. The Project Cost and Change team is part located in Montrouge, France and part located in Bristol, UK.
The Edvance Project Control Team plays a key role in the execution of the SZC project. Indeed, the SZC Co. client organization is an external client (i.e.. not part of EDF group) and the financing model of the project (Regulated Asset Based) requires a high level of transparency and reporting. As a consequence, the contract with SZC defines a wide range of requirements that the Project Cost and Change team will implement and manage.
