    Paris - remote

    Claire's are hiring a District Sales Manager to drive sales and performance across our Consumer Products business.

    The role will ultimately be responsible for the success of approximately 150 concessions within various retail partners based across the Paris region in France. Overseeing a large team of Concession Merchandisers, the District Sales Manager will provide clear leadership and direction to ensure operational compliance and enhanced customer experience across the region.

    The successful candidate will ideally be based in or around the Paris area. This role will involve working from home approximately 3 days a week whilst the other 2 will be spent travelling to retailers based around Paris and the surrounding area.

    Key accountabilities include:

  • Driving sales and achieving district performance targets
  • Demonstrate leadership by consistently representing all Company directions and initiatives
  • Consistently driving high levels of operational excellence across the district
  • Recruit and hire all qualified Concession Sales Merchandisers
  • Coaching and developing Concession Sales Merchandisers to optimize performance across the district and provide succession for the business
  • Actively looking for ways to reduce costs for the business to maximize on profit
  • Working collaboratively with Regional Managers, District Managers and key partners across the business to ensure result areas are aligned with Claire's business strategy, mission and values
  • What are we looking for?

    To be considered for this role we are keen to speak to people with the following skills and experience:

  • Valid driver's license as regular travel is required
  • A strong people leader with senior management experience gained within a Consumer Products or Retail environment
  • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to analyse sales reports and strategically problem solve
  • Strong English language skills
