About the job

The Danone HR Digitalization Center of Excellence team are recruiting a
HR Data Steward to join the HR Data Governance team.

The goal of the HR Data Governance team is to manage all HR data governance activities and have responsibility for improving the quality and managing the protection of HR data assets.


The HR Data Steward will report into HR Data Governance Lead. Day-to-day activities will include interact with internal stakeholders, e.g. HR data owners, IT & data counterparts, global & local HR analytics & reporting teams, local HR teams; as well as external consultants, data expertise, etc.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • In the specific HR Data Domain that you are responsible for, act in the role of Data Steward to support Data Owners in establishing & maintaining the Data Dictionary/Guidelines including Data Definitions, Accessibility of Data, compliance & security, to ensure HR Data Glossary is comprehensive and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
  • Establish internal policies & standards for the data process in your domain to ensure adherence to the guidelines & manage enforcement
  • Own the HR data quality topic for the specific HR Data Domain that you are responsible for, including setting up quality rules, monitoring and setting up an identification & correction mechanism to fix data quality issues.
  • Participate in the HR Data Governance network to lead the adoption of data guidelines with relevant stakeholders

For example:

monitor data usage to assist teams, share best practice trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use data to help in day-to-day decision-making.


  • Participate in HR Data Governance Programs & Projects
About you

  • An HR professional with minimum 3 years' experience in the function that understands the processes & use cases
  • Knowledge of data management processes & rules
  • Critical thinking ability in identifying issues, bringing clarity in complexity and drive conclusions
  • Excellent communication skills with different stakeholders on the data process to have clarification and alignment
  • With data centric mindset through obsession on data reliability
