YOUR ROLE


The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Controller is part of the Global FP&A team of CEVA Logistics, based in Marseille.

The FP&A team consists of four Controllers and is led by the Global Head of FP&A.


The core objectives of the FP&A team are to own and drive the budgeting and monthly re-forecast processes, own the Group management reporting, providing insightful analyses, own the Investment and Contract Approval Process (ICAP) and support the monthly business reviews between the clusters and the Executive Board.

The team also owns the CEVA Business model (5-year plan) and is responsible for covenant calculations.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Support or drive the annual budget process and budget performance reviews.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Business Control / FP&A related topics for (selected) clusters
  • Ensure a high quality ICAP process is in place, which supports the needs of the business as well as senior management. Improve the ICAP process, including utilizing information more effectively
  • Insightful analyses of business performance to support management decision making. This is embedded in the monthly/quarterly financial reporting process to management and shareholders, as well as driven by adhoc business needs
  • Manage Executive Management presentation preparation, Business modelling and valuations
  • Drive development of new analytical tools and techniques
  • Translate new requirements for reporting and analyses, e.g. IFRS16 or setting up a new Business Line into changes in systems and processes, working closely together with the respective systems owners (HFM/ one stream and JD Edwards)

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Educated to Master level
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in FP&A
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and oral.

Desirable

  • Experience in Oracle HFM & in OneStream
