Here is your future team

Part of Volvo Group Trucks Purchasing division, the Sheet Metal team is constituted by 15 buyers based in France, Sweden and India, dedicated to secure the delivery of competitive, reliable and sustainable Metal components to our European plants (Sweden, Belgium and France).

Our team is driven by the willingness to support each other in the challenges we face, share best practices, and achieve our goals together.

We are looking for an apprentice Project & Commodity Buyer able to reinforce our team from September 2024.
We are located in Saint Priest (France) well connected to Lyon's public transportation.
The apprenticeship duration and modalities could be adjusted based on your school's constraints.


Who are you?

  • We are looking for a strong and flexible team player, eager to learn and improve.
  • You have a cando approach: you have a positive mindset, high level of energy, and you are ready to tackle challenges,
  • You like to do business, demonstrate good communication skills and comfortable in crossfunctional and multicultural setup,
  • You are fluent in English,
  • You enjoy managing many parallel activities and you have a targetoriented approach,
  • You are following an engineering / business school / Purchasing Master education.
  • You are about to start your 1st year of Master Degree (The position is for 1 year with possible opportunity to extend 1 more year)
  • Former experience in Purchasing, technical background or automotive experience are a plus
