Role Overview:

The Customer Activation Product Owner is part of the customer activation team.

He/She is part of the team at group level delivering the assets for our 17 countries and more than 750 hotels worldwide.

As a Customer Activation Product Owner, he/she will be in charge of the Customer Activation Roadmap in order to develop and implement customer activation strategies.

He/she will focus on delivering ROI driven activation use cases, using marketing automation tools. He / she will also be in charge of the Salesforce marketing cloud roadmap. Reports to the VP customer & loyalty


Key Responsibilities:


  • He/She organizes and prioritizes the Customer activation roadmap according to strategic business priorities by:
  • Defining and updating his/her roadmap in perfect alignment with business priorities, via governance bodies (Steering committees) with relevant stakeholders
  • Informing about roadmap evolutions, in case of changes
  • Aligning roadmap of his domain with other POs, in order to manage potential dependencies
  • He/She will manage the consolidated backlog of the Customer activation team (bugs and enhancements), including the activity of the Customer Data Platform and the customer activation solution (currently Salesforce marketing cloud) as well as for all the transactional E mails sent via the digital platform.
  • He/ she will manage the loyalty program roadmap and ensure its delivery by interacting with different stakeholders and POs.
  • He/ she will ensure a delivery on time, on budget and with the right quality (including figures consistency checks)
  • He she is able to drive solution implementation to create more value for the countries (personalization, Notify)
  • He/She provides both technical and functional guidance to the team.
  • He/She has to analyze and understand user needs related to customer stimulation, loyalty programs benefits
  • He/She designs robust customer journeys, including fully digitalized journeys with loyalty program benefits respecting the legal constraints of each country
  • Challenge and collaborate with the technical team on architecture, design, and development choices.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Factory teams, Data team, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with Regional Marketing directors about evolutions of the solution

Skills & experience we are looking for:

years experience as a Product Owner, ideally with a background in customer activation or digital marketing.

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with a proven ability to craft clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, essential for effectively prioritizing tasks and setting clear deadlines.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems; additional technical skills in marketing technologies are highly valued.
  • A resultsoriented approach, focusing on achieving measurable KPIs.
  • English working language
