DHL SUPPLY CHAIN France (2,000 employees) is recruiting a Director of Logistics Operations to strengthen its Healthcare/Life sciences activity.

Under the responsibility of the CEO DH Supply Chain France, you rely on a team of around ten operational managers who operate on three logistics platforms.

You contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics operations within your scope.

You manage both human and technological change and you drive this change through your teams while controlling the costs of your activity, and guaranteeing a good social climate.

True Business Partner of your perimeter, you ensure the deployment of the DHL Group 2025 Strategy.

As a Decision Maker, your sense of organization will help you carry out several missions.

Force of proposal, you will be able to anticipate the problems, solve the blockages encountered; your know-how and your experience will be real assets for your success.

Your tasks:

Define and Organize:

Discuss with General Management in order to take into account all of the strategic objectives and the various associated development projects
Define and set the objectives and priority axes of development.
Define, on the basis of all these elements, a purchasing and supply strategy setting out all the means (human, financial, material resources, etc.) and the objectives to be achieved.
Coordinate the implementation of the 2025 strategy
Define, animate and share the KPIs of your scope

Pilot and Manager:

Guarantee the optimization of logistics operations
Ensure the communication and the link with all the customers
Supervise and animate all the Operations teams
Support and develop the skills of these employees according to individual and collective objectives.

Negotiate and Optimize:

Ensure contract renegotiations and initiate projects aimed at developing the activity and the performance of the perimeter
Monitor the proper integration of operations upstream of business startups
Ensure the proper fulfillment of negotiated contractual conditions and arbitrate any disputes.
Provide reporting to the General Management
Manage the operation and performance of the perimeter: quality of service, control of flows in accordance with contractual and financial objectives, respect for the environment and safety conditions
Develop and manage the operational budget of the scope and CAPEX
Build a sustainable culture of continuous improvement

Position based in :
La Plaine Saint Denis (Head Office ) - Travel in France approximately 50% of the time
Level in the organization:Member of the SMT France

With a Bac + 5 training, you have a proven experience in a position of "Operations" Management or Supply Chain Management in the Lifesciences / Healhcare sector.

Your leadership and benevolence will allow you to lead your teams to achieve the objectives set. You are looking for a professional challenge where your vision and your choices will have an impact.
