The Project:

Build a full-stack B2C health company to improve people's healthspan and lifespan

  • Build a network of accessible health centers worldwide for health tests and diagnostics
  • Display results and recommendations in an app
  • Give access to educational content to guide the user to a healthier lifestyle
  • Provide personalized and qualitative supplements based on results
  • Build research centers in order to explore frontier diagnostics and medicines to improve lifespan


The Head of Medical will play a key role inside the strategy & recommendation team in charge of defining the services and the algorithms driving our offering.

They will work with different stakeholders and team members to synchronize the medical knowledge.

Working at Aura, they will contribute to changing the healthcare ecosystem.

Pushing to a shift of paradigm to preventive & personalized care while bringing individuals the most health benefits and value.


Role:


  • Help define the strategy of services offered, understand the impact of each test & diagnostics we can offer and advise on the medical coherence of the test panels
  • Drive the research and definition of the recommendations algorithms giving personalized insights on the patients health and risks with advice to improve their health markers
  • Coordinate the medical team and medical board. Work closely with specialists to gather their insights and centralize the knowledge to be applied on the test panels and recommendation algorithms
  • Define the medical protocols and processes based on the services offered. Work with the operations teams to assure the quality of the medical processes
  • Help hiring medical staff (physicians, nurses, phlebotomists, physician assistants )

Profile:


  • Passion for preventive health and wellness
  • Strong will to disrupt healthcare sector
  • Connexions with some of the brilliant minds in several medical fields
  • Licensed physician
  • Innovative physician open to change the health care system
  • Fluent in English & French
  • Business degree or training is a plus
