You are a highly motivated implementation engineer interested in defining methodologies and making them concrete and applied on the ground.

You want to enable innovative chips and systems implementation designs which will shape the future of technology.

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer, willing to work in a multicultural and diverse environment, interested in building strong relationship with various teams in multi design centres


As an implementation engineer working in Design Enablement, Methodology and support team, your main role will consist in defining, benchmarking, deploying and supporting new solutions to enable best in class designs.


Working in close collaboration with methodology experts as well as design teams and EDA vendors, you will be involved from the methodology definition up to the deployment and maintenance for use in production.


Based in Sophia Antipolis, our design centre is built with high-level environmental and wellbeing standards (LEED and WELL certified respectively).


Responsibilities

  • Work on implementation CAD and methodology definition, deployment and support for all flows/steps from RTL to silicon tape out.
  • Gather design teams requirements, support their needs and execution, debug any issue, work on methodology, define and deploy tool enhancements.
  • Define interception and deployment timing windows.
  • Run benchmarking and build demonstrators for new features and methodologies (Machine learning for example)
  • The role can involve to lead interns

Required skills

  • Degree/years of xps
  • Prior experience in Synthesis, PnR and/or Sign off at chip level
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • RTL to gate design flow and project life cycle
  • EDA tools for implementation and sign off flow
  • Scripting (Tcl, python,) and automation
  • Quality processes and standards

Additional skills

  • Machine learning implementation techniques
