We are looking for a Apprentice - [Mechatronics Engineer] to join our team

Our activity is looking for a
Apprentice - [Mechatronics Engineer] for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Monbéliard; near Switzerland).

The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develop innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global center of expertise on hydrogen storage systems.

Apprenticeship :
duration 2 or 3 years, from September 2023.

What makes the position interesting?

As a
Mechatronics Engineer Apprentice you will work closely with the mechatronics and systems engineering team.

Your mission will be to develop and/or validate the control laws integrated into the software of the mechatronic systems that FCM develops.

You will be working on challenges that matter

Your missions:

Contribute to the realization of mechatronic systems and their availability to project teams:
Development / Validation of prototypes (HW/SW, control laws (Matlab Simulink Language C), Realization of schematics/PCB)
Test bench development / validation
Handling algorithms (Active Acoustics / Signal Processing, Control-Command of Electric Motors, Temperature Regulation, or other)
Participate in Mechatronics Business activities:
Definition of tools for software development.
Update existing tools (improvement of python/Excel macro scripts or existing Simulink models, etc.)
Creation or evaluation of new tools

What if it were you?

Engineering school / Apprenticeship for 2 or 3 years specialization in Electronic Mechatronics, Industrial Computing, or Automation.
Interested in electronic design (schematic, pcb), Computer coding (C language, python), Matlab/Simulink, Arduino development.
Team spirit, autonomous and curious.
English mandatory
