Part of the worldwide group Thermo Fisher Scientific, our business unit (headquarters in Bordeaux) specializes in the conception, development and sales of 3d visualization software


Thermo Scientific instruments, equipment, software, services and consumables empower scientists to solve for complex analytical challenges in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental and industrial research, as well as the clinical laboratory.

The inside sales will be accountable for driving customer retention, renewals and growth on renewal of MSD-VDS software solutions.


Will be responsible for identifying and strengthening relationships with key customers, identifying and mitigating potential renewal roadblocks, and improving the renewal process.


Responsibilities
Achieve bookings quota by selling renewals, may offer upsell opportunities of product and services when applicable.

Work within dedicated territory for established list of clients

Provide accurate weekly/ monthly/ quarterly sales forecast and other required reports for management

Serve as team liaison coordinating interactions between internal department and/or external customers as appropriate.

Successfully promote products or services for existing customers.

Respond to inquiries regarding Renewal sales

Use data to identify 'at risk' opportunities and work with the commercial team on remediation actions

Ensure high level of integrity during all interactions with customers and prospects

Effectively partner and build strong business relationships with the business unit's funtional areas and customers

Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver sales goals and achieve an outstanding customer experience

Maintain the customer management system (CRM) to ensure all relevant data is captured in a timely manner


Requirements:

Ideally some experience in sales or renewal sales including negotiating and closing deals

Be familiar with sales metrics, reporting and forecasting

Excellent organization, self-sufficient operational, and time management skills

Ability to manage and organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to analyze and solve problems

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community

Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, with proven success

Proficient in MS Office Suite and knowledge on MS Dynamics 360 or similar CRM


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred

Some experience in Sales

Proficient in English and French. Knowledge in German is desired.

Prior success in achieving individual and/or team sales quota/goals

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers in a fast-pace environment while developing positive customer relationships
