In the software development direction, you will be working with the worldwide team (8 people).

The main roles of the QA Sr Engineer will be:


  • Body Manufacturing Solution (Stamp/Weld/Assembly) validation in close collaboration with development teams, project manager and product manager following main principles of Agile method ;
  • Customer Central Support (2nd level) to the local support engineers if required ;
  • Training of local support engineers on new versions of Body Manufacturing Solutions.
The main missions of the QA Senior Engineer will be:

Product Validation:


  • Test and Validate the products in one of the Body Manufacturing solutions to ensure a good quality
  • Contribute actively to requirements specifications ;
  • Plan, execute and document the testing of our software solutions to agreed milestones and quality standards ;
  • Test execution at integration and system test levels ;
  • Actively and extensively use and stress the software in a wide range of scenarios in order to find defects before the product reaches the market ;
  • Analyze simulation results and/or software behavior to perform root cause analysis that help and guide developer towards a resolution ;
  • Run acceptance and performance tests ;
  • Report against quality and coverage criteria ;
  • Create/update regression test automation scripts on a regular basis.

Customer Support:


  • Train local support engineers on new versions of Body Manufacturing Stamp Solutions and contribute that they adopt it ;
  • Deliver an efficient support to local support engineers within a reasonable timeframe ;
  • Participate actively to develop a technical knowledge base ;
  • Develop training documentation and demonstrators to promote ESI's Body Manufacturing Solutions.
The validation engineer will be part of one of the Manufacturing products quality and customer support team (Stamp/Weld/Assembly). The team members are based in different locations like France, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, or India.
ESI Company provides the opportunity for collaborators to partially work from home (2 to 3 days a week).

The team is in charge of the validation of the Solutions which are composed of several products - which requires the following interactions:

  • Close collaboration with the Development teams and Level 1 support engineers
  • Ability to professionally interact with the Product and Project Management to ensure smooth operation of validation activities


The team is also in charge of customer central support: this means a 2nd level technical support to local support engineers, located in the various subsidiaries.

He/She should be located in France or Czech Republic.


Technical skills:


  • Mechanical Engineer (Material Science, Mechanics or Numerical methods)
  • Manufacturing technical knowledge (Stamp and/or Weld and/or Assembly)
  • At least 5 years' experience in numerical modelling of manufacturing processes
  • Ideally an experience in customer support and/or validation
  • Ideally an experience in Software Engineering

Additional technical skills:


  • Performing Testing activities within an Agile (SCRUM) environment
  • Scripting language as Python is a plus
  • Finite elements knowledge is a plus
