- Identifying and qualifying major accident events:
- Identifying hazards (flammable, toxic, high pressures, temperatures, etc.)
- Evaluating causes, consequences, and risks
- Participating in safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, etc.)
- Evaluating and categorizing major accident scenarios.
- Ensuring personnel, environmental, and facility protection through prevention and protection design:
- Conducting preliminary risk analyses
- Participating in site layout planning and 3D modeling
- Identifying critical safety elements and assessing their criticality levels
- ATEx zone classification
- Passive fire protection
- Designing active fire protection systems (including firefighting pumps, fire networks, deluge systems)
- Fire and flammable/toxic gas detection systems
- Ensuring personnel protection
- Ensuring evacuation and life-saving at sea
- Preparing technical specifications and requirements for firefighting equipment and personnel protection, as well as evaluating technical offers and monitoring suppliers.
- Producing quality deliverables:
- Developing deliverables that meet project objectives and safety standards.
- Sharing your knowledge:
- Sharing your expertise with colleagues informally on a daily basis
- Documenting your experiences, contributing to R&D topics, and conducting training sessions.
- Experienced industrial safety engineer: capable of verifying deliverables produced by others and supervising junior engineers.
- Industrial Safety Coordinator (Safety Lead): Taking charge of project safety aspects, organizing and supervising a team.
- HSED Coordinator (HSED Lead): Leading the HSED team's work on a project.
- Expert: Becoming a recognized authority in Industrial Safety engineering.
- Service Manager: Managing the Industrial Safety department from a functional and operational perspective.
- You hold a degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a specialized school in Industrial Risks or equivalent university (bac +5), come join us

Mission and Responsibilities:
Within the Industrial Safety department, you will join a team of HSE Design engineers on a project led by Technip Energies. These projects cover a range of areas including green hydrogen, green ammonia, carbon capture, natural gas, petrochemicals, mining & metals, and pharmaceuticals.
Your main tasks will include:
Note: Quantitative studies (e.g., QRA, FERA, RAM, etc.) and explosion loading specifications are not within the scope of the Industrial Safety discipline. However, you will be involved in utilizing the results of these studies.
