Engineering Manager
We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to strengthen our Engineering and Documentation team in HEM Business Line.

Engineering Manager has the overall responsibility of engineering activities for assigned projects and products and daily leadership of the local team.

In this position you will be mainly working with Reverse Osmosis Systems, water softeners, various fresh water sanitation systems, pressure pump sets, hot water systems and various other fresh water treatment equipment.

The position is located in Antibes, France.


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Manage local drawing & documentation team.
  • R & D for new products and for improving existing products.
  • Managing product documentation & drawings.
  • Managing Product Quality and feedback from the field.
  • Find or Design new greener solutions for existing range.
  • Assist with technical documentation for Navy projects.
  • Manage BOM's for various products.
  • Assist Onboard Service, Spares Parts and Project and Systems teams technically.
  • Manage all technical communication with suppliers.
  • Indepth knowledge of complete product range and interactions.
  • Work in close collaboration with Evac Group offices to coordinate design activities.
  • Manage future transfer of product data to global PDM system.

_ To succeed in this position, you will have:_

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electrical and/or Hydraulic engineering or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and a versatile background with knowledge and understanding of mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, automation and software.
  • Sound knowledge of modern CAD/PDM tools (Creo, Windchill, InDesign and Autocad experience is an advantage).
  • A few years' experience in leading design and documentation work and team.
  • Ability to delegate tasks, instruct designers and review and approve their outcomes.
  • Knowledge of engineering requirements in marine industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Good level of spoken French also required to be able to work with the local team.
