ROLE


Within CMA SHIPS, ship management entity of CMA CGM Group, Fleet Upgrade Department is responsible for improving fleet performance by retrofitting vessels during technical stops and implementing innovative technologies on board (dual fuel propulsion, engine performance optimization, hydro and aerodynamic modifications).


You will participate in the implementation of large-scale engineering projects as well as maintaining a high operational standard for CMA CGM fleet vessels.

On-board quality of life for sailors, compliance with international standards, energy efficiency, and decarbonization are all topics that will occupy your daily tasks.


RESPONSIBILITIES


As an Assistant PMO in alternance, you will work within the Project Control department to support the effective management of projects within the organization.

You will assist in coordinating activities related to project planning, monitoring, and reporting, working closely with project managers and various stakeholders.


In this context, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting project managers in the annual budget creation process.
  • Monitoring project expenses during their execution.
  • Tracking project progress by collecting project manager updates and updating tools.
  • Contributing to the preparation of regular reports on project progress for management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Participating in the assessment of operational risks upstream and onsite.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives for processes or piloting tools.
  • Assisting in the creation of analyses to define maintenance strategies for the years 2025 and 2026.
PROFILE & SKILLS

You are enrolled in an engineering school or Master's program with a specialization in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

You ideally have previous experience in an industrial sector (Energy or large infrastructure projects) or in consulting firm.

You are fluent in English and proficient in computer tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.


You are rigorous, have good interpersonal skills, and possess solid analytical and organizational skills, which will enable you to succeed in your role and tackle new challenges within our Group.
