- Supports and implements senior management strategies in the CRM Business Line in order
- to achieve profitable commercial business objectives;
- Works as a trusted and proactive advisor to internal business clients, providing clear communication of business risks, potential mitigation of risks, and solution-oriented options;
- Provides line management with assistance in negotiating and drafting contracts and
- commercial agreements of all kinds (notably marketing, services, supply, procurement, sales);
- Advises business partners on domestic and international commercial, contract, IP/IT, medical device laws, product liability, regulatory, and industry best practices;
- Assists in developing and maintaining the company's policies, procedures, documentation, and communication materials;
- Partners with other functions (Finance, Procurement, etc.) in order to achieve business goals / mitigate risks;
- Collaborates with team members to ensure global and regional/local market appropriate strategies are executed;
- Supports on corporate secretarial and corporate governance matters and assists in managing portfolio of legal advisors and related budget where needed;
- Advises and provides compliance guidance on the company's relationships with healthcare centers and healthcare professionals;
- Provides guidance and advise on public procurement law, specifically in the context of public tenders;
- Develop training materials and provide training to employees on key legal issues.
- Monitor legislative changes and make recommendations to ensure legal compliance as relevant.
- Master's degree in business, corporate and/or contract law. Qualified at a European bar is an asset.
- Strong 7+ years of relevant work experience from existing in-house role or from corporate/commercial department of an international law firm (preferred). Experience in the healthcare industry – and particularly the medical device sector – is preferred. Exposure to previous experience working with executives and board members is considered a plus.
- Strong Customer/client focused, strong business acumen and ability to think and partner with line management to achieve growth and profitable goals;
- Ability to rapidly mobilize, highly motivated, pro-active, hard-working, pragmatic and efficient, as well as a team player;
- Excellent reviewing and negotiation skills, with the ability and confidence to represent the company;
- Ability to work under pressure, exhibiting timely and quality decision making;
- Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to line and senior management;
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict between groups with opposing perspectives,
- agendas or priorities;
- Strong work ethic, a self-starter, action-oriented and ensures trust and accountability;
- 1 or 2 other European languages (preferably Italian) are a strong asset.
